Rocheport Fall Large Item Pick-Up Day

Monday, October 19, 2026

Fall is here, and it’s a great time to clear out those large household items you no longer need!

The City of Rocheport, in partnership with T-Mac, Inc., will hold our Fall Large Item Pick-Up Day on Monday, October 19, 2026.

Please have your items at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on pickup day.

What can be picked up?

Large household items may include:

• Box springs and mattresses
• Furniture
• Washers and dryers
• Refrigerators and freezers
• Microwaves
• Ranges
• Hot water heaters
• Other large household appliances

A quick reminder about appliances: Any appliance containing Freon or another refrigerant must have the refrigerant properly removed before pickup.

What about tires?

Tires can be picked up, but they must be cut into quarters or shredded. The landfill cannot accept whole tires.

Please leave these items out

The following items cannot be accepted:

• Garden or yard waste
• Remodeling or construction debris
• Car batteries
• Oil
• Wet paint
• Gasoline or other petroleum products

Time for a little fall clean-up!

Gather those unwanted household items and have everything at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on Monday, October 19.
